Trade Show Display

Trade shows are an integral part of marketing and sales of business products. The main challenge of a trade show is making an impact that is greater than the noise generated by your neighboring booths. You need to design your booth in such a manner so as to emphatically get your statement across to people in the few seconds that it takes them to walk by your stall. A Trade Show Display can help you achieve all of the above.

Trade show displays are the most efficient and simple way of getting your message across to the pertinent people. Movable displays can also be an economical and easy way to advertise your products or services. These displays can be conveniently packed up and taken along with you to use wherever and whenever you require. By setting up the moveable trade show display yourself; you can save costs on professional organizers and movers.

Types of Trade Show Displays and Their Uses

There are many kinds of trade show displays available to suit individual requirements. They are made from different materials, assemble in various ways, and also vary in cost. Here is a look at some common types of trade show displays:

  • Panel Displays: These displays are usually made of individual solid segments that are covered by some fabric and connect to each other to make one bigger panel or a wall. When choosing a panel display see if you can get one that is covered by a thicker carpet like fabric as these can take the brunt of wear and tear better than smoother fabrics. These displays have different panels and can thus be configured as you wish but they can be difficult to handle by just one person and you may need some help putting them up.
  • Pop-Up Displays: These displays consist of folding frames that pop-up to make a bigger panel. The frames are covered with magnetic backed materials or plastic paneling. Pop-up displays are quite light in weight and since they fold down, are even less bulky. But these do not offer much flexibility as the frame has to be unfolded entirely to be stable and can thus not be made to fit smaller or tighter spaces. Pop-up displays can be assembled by one person.
  • Curtain Displays: These displays are made from only fabric which attaches to a pipe or rod and falls down like a curtain which is used for displays. Very easy to carry as they roll into just a rod and also easy to set up. When buying a curtain display see that the fabric used can withstand wear and tear. This curtain design is ideal as a backdrop or as skirting for tables. It cannot take heavy weight and may only be used to pin up lightweight pictures or photographs.
  • Frameless Displays: These consist of a flexible plastic panel that can be bent either way and the ends join with each other to create a standing structure. The part with the display should come on the outside. Easy to use and set up. These displays are chiefly used as a backdrop as it is not feasible to place things on the display.
  • Tabletop Displays: These are minor forms of pop-up and panel displays that can be placed on tabletops. They are ideal if you do not require large displays. Some of these can be folded and carried in your briefcase as well. They are very easy to assemble and disassemble. Although these are very convenient, you should keep in mind that the exposure they offer is also limited due to their size.

You can use any or a combination of these trade show displays and make your booth the best designed one in the trade show.
